Imagine a god that can be played in 100 different ways! A god thats difficult and requires true skill! Ive spent a lot of time doing the math and studying balance. I think I have created a god that the professionals will enjoy training. A god that will be difficult for most and over powered for those who can master it! Introducing Aither, God of immortal air


Lore: Aither (Æthere, Ancient Greek: Αἰθήρ, pronounced [aitʰɛ̌ːr]), in ancient Greece, was one of the primordial deities. Aether is the personification of the upper air. Role: Optional - Mage/assassin/guardian.

Skin: Partially see through, like the air! A character that blends with the environment to a point.

Skill 1: (SYPHON)- Aither gives special air to gods, not humans. Different kind of air though! for skill 1, it will be removing some of that, Aether puts his hands out and pulls mana from everyone in a surrounding area, literally stealing it. The mana is converted to you, or split between all members within the AOE area. This skill is the size of scyllas ultimate with 2 sections inside the circle. This attack does no damage, but has a small knockback effect if they are on the inside of the circle, and a pulling effect if they are on the outside! Think of this AOE like a bullseye. It can be used for both defense or offence depending on where you strike. The knockback effect will be similar to aphrodites 2 ability. And the pull similar to susanos pull. This will be very useful for CC control. This ability costs no mana.

Level 1: - 20 mana stolen from players
Level 2: - 30 mana stolen from players This ability has a
Level 3: - 50 mana stolen from players 20 second natural cooldown
Level 4: - 70 mana stolen from players
Level 5: - 100 mana stolen from players

Skill 2: (INHALE)Aither steals air from mortal minions with an AOE skill approximately half the size of scyllas ultimate. This air is used to empower movement and can be stacked, each stack increases your movement speed by .125% with a maximum of 200 stacks, each minion hit grants 5 stacks granting the player a maximum of 25% additional movement speed. You can spend your stacks to do damage with this ability by hitting a god with it so long as no minions are within the AOE. If a minion is present in the skill, it will automatically add stacks and damage the minions rather then damaging the player. Each attack consumes 15 stacks (ON DAMAGING PLAYERS ONLY), if 4 players are within the AOE it will attack all 4 for a total of 60 stacks, If you have 200 stacks you can continue to attack multiple enemies until your stacks are gone if you have them available. You can re-use this ability as many times as you can afford on 1 god if no minions are present and You do not have to kill a minion to get the stacks., This ability has no internal cooldown. This ability will require some skill in minion control! Remove the minions and attack! This is your lane control ability. However, Unless you have high stacks, this ability is a poking ability, but has potential to destroy with max stacks. This ability costs mana and will reduce your bonus movement speed with each stack sacrafice.
Level 1: - 20dmg +10% of magical power. Level 1: Mana consumption 35
Level 2: - 40dmg +10% of magical power. Level 2: Mana consumption 45
Level 3: - 60dmg +10% of magical power. Level 3: Mana consumption 60
Level 4: - 80dmg +10% of magical power. Level 4: Mana consumption 80
Level 5: - 100dmg +10% of magical power. Level 5: Mana consumption 100


Skill 3: (CONVERSION) The conversion skill is very unique. The area is similar to sun wukongs shape shifting ability. it has 3 choices, the short range, allows you to sacrafice 100 stacks for a 25% heal to yourself, and a 10% area heal to your allies (same size as scyllas ult). The long range will sacrafice 50 stacks, and if the player is hit, it will root them for .2 seconds at lvl 1 and 1 seconds at max level and do a small amount of damage (similar to SWKs staff attack). At 200 stacks this ability can be used 4 times on 1 god. The middle range attack, will sacrafice 50 stacks and steal the players movement speed for 3 seconds (Similar to AO kuangs dragon throw), the air will leave the player and return to you as speed, however, the speed stealing option does no damage as it is designed to be used as an escape! with 200 stacks, you cant steal a players movement speed twice, BUT you can attack multiple players you can steal each of their movement speed. The 3 seconds will reset once the next attack has landed. If hitting mercury and SWK in bird form, at max stacks, this god will be extremely fast in the right hands. This ability has no internal cooldown and costs no mana.

ABILITY 1 - LONG RANGE - Short range and mid range attacks do not level.
Level 1: - 40dmg + 10% magical power .2 second root
Level 2: - 80dmg + 10% magical power .4 second root
Level 3: - 120dmg + 10% magical power .6 second root This ability has no internal
Level 4: - 140 dmg + 10% magical power .8 second root Cooldown
Level 5: - 170 dmg + 10% magical power 1 second root

Ultimate: (GASP)Aither takes a big deep breath, the longer he holds his breath the more damage the skill does, at the cost of mana per second held. The attack will start wide with a short distance slightly larger then ao kuangs ult, for attacking multiple enemies in close combat, and as the breath is held it will get more thin but increase in distance, at 10% mana per second, and 10% damage per second held, the maximum 5 second finish ult will look similar to ra's ultimate, and will be instant. However, the ultimate can not go through walls. This ability costs 100% of your mana at max damage, and has a 60 second natural cooldown.

Ultimate costs 20% mana per second, maximum of 100%
Level 1: - 300dmg + 20% magical power + 10% total dmg per second held (5 second maximum)
Level 2: - 350dmg + 20% magical power + 10% total dmg per second held (5 second maximum)
Level 3: - 400dmg + 20% magical power + 10% total dmg per second held (5 second maximum)
Level 4: - 450dmg + 20% magical power + 10% total dmg per second held (5 second maximum)
Level 5: - 500dmg + 20% magical power + 10% total dmg per second held (5 second maximum)

For example, at 5 seconds and level 5, with 600 power, your looking at 500+(600+20%)=1220+10%=1342dmg every 60 seconds IF YOU CAN HIT! Imagine max power! However.. its a risk.
You have to sacrafice all mana for an ultimate, but no worries, you have a mana stealing ability!

Passive: (SURVIVAL) Aither adds the mana stolen from players. At 250 mana stolen, you gain 10% life, at 500 stolen you gain 10% damage, at 750 stolen you gain 10% lifesteal, and at 1,000 stolen you gain 10% movement speed. I know this may sound overpowered! But the passive resets on death! You have to start over everytime you die. This makes it challenging, but because its challenging theres even a better bonus! If you can maintain 1000 stacks, Once you hit 1,000 every 120 seconds you will automatically beads the next CC attack that touches you. This is a reward system for not dying! This passive forces people to play smart.

This design is very complex and balanced! If the player is good, be careful.. but if the player is bad, this is an easy god to take out. It will surely require skill to play it properly, its all about stacking! Aither, the godz oxygen... will be very fun to learn! This god can be played as a mage, assasin, or guardian! Thank you! I'm glad to be back! In 2014 I designed the medusa idea on my main, I logged on 1 day and medusa was a god. Not sure if they got it from me but I'm just happy to help!.
