Chains extend from Ares' shield, doing damage to all enemies in its path. Hitting a god shackles them to Ares, Cripples them, preventing movement abilities, dealing the same damage every second while slowing them by 15% and buffing Ares. While shackled, Ares can fire another chain for free within 2s. Jungle Camps take an extra +40% damage.

I gave this a thumbs up, it is not the worst guide iv ever seen, there is just a slight adjustment id like to see.

Ares is immobile, which means hes going to get caught out, its just how that works, so for your boots, instead of Shoes of Focus I would love to see Reinforced Shoes since they are very bloated, and give you power, along with protections, and the nice 20% CCR.

For your start, I would drop the 2 Multi Potion and buy a Hand of the Gods This way you can almost insta clear the camp, and leave it on 1hp while your ADC is walking to you.

The only other thing as well would be switching Pridwen and Relic Dagger buying Relic Dagger after Sovereignty gives you that boost in the mid game because one its cheap, and two you can blink ult faster, so blink ult the mid, and then come back and do it again, Ares is a Blink Rune reliant god. The sooner we can do this the better.

I am fine with you building Gauntlet of Thebes, but you could always just go Sovereignty into Heartward Amulet this will let you avoid stacking, and now you can run at people with your passive since you dont have to wait for stacks. BUT I can see going Gauntlet of Thebes if they have heavy magical.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
