Notes Soul Eater might not work on Kaldr, but the 3 (Permafrost) heals you very well. Brawler is obviously necessary when you face gods with high life-stealing or healing.

Heartseeker is always a very strong final item, it is the perfect item for Skadi, as it is THE ability-based item.

How to play Skadi

People often build Skadi on attack speed and crit, I personally find this to be a wast of potential. I will give a simple but complete guide on how to get carrying as Skadi almost every single game.

Using Kaldr to the fullest extend is very important. Early game you have to use him to distract the enemy ADC by sending Kaldr at him or by blocking his basic attacks on the minions with Kaldr. Even against an Izanami you can still push the lane in your favor.

Upgrade your 1 (Piercing cold) to level 3 or 4, then get Kaldr to 4, then max your 1, then Kaldr and only then start upgrading your 3 (Permafrost). Each time you can upgrade the ultimate you should do it.

Skadi is not a boxer, but one of the most massive burst damage dealers in the game. If you can make Kaldr dash at the enemy after having hit your 1, when Kaldr is about to die throw your ult. You can also gank with your ult on mages or hunters, right after that throw your 1 and then your 3, then they 're most of the time already dead.

Use Kaldr to get passed towers if you need to or to tank tower shots.
When he has all 5 health points and the enemy is weak and hiding under the tower, you can send Kaldr at him, let Kaldr dash or bite first and then go full on attacking. As soon as Kaldr damages the enemy he will tank the tower shots.

Having some attack speed and life steal is important, because with the ability based items your basic attacks will murder tanks, so it is nice to have about 1.69 attack speed at least.

Try to manage Kaldr his health well, if you can do not let him get killed temporarily, that will leave you exposed.

Use your 3 (Permafrost) to destroy assassins. When a total horror of a basic-attacker like Bakasura or Arachne wants to gank you, all you need to do is to stand on your 3 and harass them with Kaldlr, your basic attacks and your 1. Skadi is the ADC, who is an absolute terror to assassins if her abilities are up.

To summarize it, use Kaldr actively, build on burst damage and try to gank a lot.

Thanks for your time!
