Hi all, this is my first guide so be gentle eheh
Hel is my first god i got to rank diamond becouse i like to spam skills while playing, and hel is the best god to do it. I have around 700 arena matches and 25% are with Hel, so i think i know what i'm doing (at least for what it concern arena). This builds are only made for arena, if you are looking for a build for joust or conquest or other mods you are in the wrong place.
Let's start with the actual guide.
The most tryharder will say that this builds are ****, and for the build #2 and #3 i can agree, but my main build, the build #1, gave me lots of funny moments and a really high win rate, what it does is basically transform a support into a carry.
With the amount of damage you deal you have no needs for hunters or warriors in team, you can easly end a match with 40k or more player damage (and 10/15k of healing thanks to soul gem but we'll talk about it later) without even needing to farm minions.
Let's talk about the items now.
The main objective of my build (the #1 build) is to stack the passives of soul gem, soul reaver and ethereal staff to do massive true damage. Hitting an enemy with the passive of soul reaver+ethereal staff inlfict 13 to 20% of their health as true damage, +30% of your magical pawer thanks to soul gem, while at the same time you have a raw 515 magical power (at finished build) to start with wich is not bad at all.
-Shoes of Focus: you take those shoese for the speed and the cooldown, with that 10% cooldown you are going to end (counting all items) with exactly 40% cooldown wich is a must have with Hel.
-Soul Gem: soul gem is a fantastic item, it gives cooldown reduction (10%), lifesteal (12%) health and power, plus the passive wich is fantastic for Hel. The +30% of you magical pawer as damage is really good when you have 515 magical power, and with Hel is really easy to reach the 4 stacks, healing your team with the third ability give you stacks, slowing enemys with your second ability give you stacks, even making your teammates immune from CC with your second ability gives you stacks, this make it really easy to make stacks for soul gem. The second passive of soul gem is what you will use instead of the more common Rod of Asclepius to heal your teammates, and becouse you are going to be really close (in arena) to your teammates you are always going to heal them when the 4stacks pops.
-Soul Reaver: in the first 4/5 minutes of match you are going to lack a lot of mana, this is going to happen until you build Soul Reaver wich gives 300 mana, this is why you build it as the third item. Soul gem and the shoes before soul reaver becouse of their cooldown reduction. The 10% health as true damage is just fantastic when stacked with the other items. It ingores the magical defense, this make it fantastic against tanks.
-Ethereal staff: It's just good as Soul reaver if not better, you build this as your fourth item just becouse it doesn't give mana wich you need like oxygen in early and mid game. It gives that 200 health wich make Hel way more sustainable in combat. And the 20% CC is always good to have.
-Chronos' Pendant: As i sayd i like to spam skills, Chronos' pendant is a must have for Hel, wether you build her damage or support, you need to spam those skills to make those 40k of damage, or if you play as support hel, you need to spam those skills to keep your teammates alive.
-Gem of Isolation: 250 health to make you almost immortal in 1v1, 90 magical power becouse yes, and the slow wich is really good, you hit your enemies with your first to slow them, then you reach them and you hit them with your third to finish the job.
-Meditation cloak: it's a must have in ealry game becouse as i sayd you are going to finish mana every 2 minutes if not less.
-Blink: blink to a low health target, third skill, free kill.
Why not Rod of Tahuti?
With this build, any enemy that has less then 50% of their health is just DEAD if hit by your third ability, even without that 25% more damage. I did put it in the exaggerated Hel build just for fun, you don't really need it.
PROS- Melt everything, why heal your teammates when there are no enemies to harm you?
In 1v1 you are going to shot down even assassins like Loki without any problems.
CONS- Not so support as a full support build but who cares?
Fun build to use, made for Arena and ONLY Arena, it costs too much for other mods and it's less efficient. Try it and tell me how it goes, have fun ;)

Another thing, i missed to say that the real combo to kil someone is 2-3-1. The 2 to slow and debuff, while the enemy is slowed you can close in and hit with your 3, then finish him with the 1 when he is running away, and if THAT is not enough, you can even swith to light stance and 1 wich does damage to.
Just my suggestion: Try to include different builds for different scenarios.
I'll play a couple games in arena with this build and tell you how I do.
For your first build:
Without using your 2, and with the passives from Soul Gem, Ethereal Staff, and Soul Reaver activating, you can kill Ra with your 1->3-> basic attack x2
For your "Exaggerated Hel" build:
When [the passvies from all of your items activate, your 1 and 3 combo, in a fully charged dark stance, are enough to kill Ra.
Without the passives from any of your items, you can kill Ra with 1->3->basic attack.
So good job on the builds and the guide.
I just compared a mirror. Immediately when I went into practice, I leveled Ra up to 20. I confirmed that both my total health and the jungle Ra's health increased.
Funny thing is, without any items, I was dealing 49 damage, and the enemy was dealing 43...combat log confirmed not only the damage, but that my Ra was mitigating more. The protections on that Ra are messed up and not equivalent.
Now, if you consider meta builds, that enemy Ra would also have gotten not only Warlock's Staff (which gives 500 health at full stacks), but also might have picked up at least 1 or 2 other items that might have some health or protections in it. I know that's one god example, but based on my calculations in my previous comment, no way is this a "one-shot" situation.
Sure, other mages might not get Warlock's, but yeah...have to take into account all the different stats, and the fact that she needs to get close to even deal that amount of damage...most other squishies will try to keep her at arm's length unless she has help in the form of a teammate's CC or the enemy not being aware...at which point, this isn't the solo kill-everyone god she's made out to be here.
you do true damage wich ingores defense.
I'll try this in jungle practice against ra and get back to you.
I'm not trying to be a tryhard =P
But I want to point out some things.
Above, you say "you do true damage which ignores defense." The only true damage you're dealing here is from Soul Reaver, and only when the passive is up. That true damage deals 10% of an enemy's max health.
For comparison purposes, I'm using level 20s... Hel vs. an Agni with no added health or protections (to give as much opportunity as possible to "one shot").
At level 20, Agni has 1,780 health and 48 magical protections. Against the #1 Hel build, Agni's inherent magical protection mitigates 32.3% of any of her direct attacks not including Soul Reaver's passive or any other protection reduction effects that others might have applied (e.g. Spear of the Magus or Void Stone), or that she might have applied herself via Hinder.
So with the suggested Decay -> Repulse combo that's suggested in the write-up, base damage is as follows, if we assume both Reaver and Staff passives are available, and additionally that Soul Gem's passive was fully stacked:
Unless I've calculated incorrectly, it's a far cry from "one-shotting" even a fully squishy Agni, unless he's already damaged. AND you need all of your passives to be ready to go in order to get the extra damage (which honestly isn't all that much...those passive bonuses add up to less than just a single shot of Decay).
Will also point out a couple things:
To OP: "The most tryharder will say that this builds are ****"
We are trying to give you constructive criticism. We are not saying, nor are we implying, that your builds are bad.
