You'll start with the mage's blessing as it gives you cooldown reduction and, as you complete your build, sell it and buy Discord (Tyr is an ability, combo-based god, so cooldown is very important)
Buy either breastplate or genji depending on the enemy god in your lane and, then, finish warrior tabi.
As your reach sell blessing and tabi to buy discord and magi

Hi, my name is Carlolito2 (that is also my name in Smite (PC)), I'm an experienced smite player (90 masteries), especially with warriors.
Tyr is my main pick in conquest, and that's why I wanted to create this guide, to help new players.
I will be discussing a few types of builds and game strategies:
Tyr is an ability, combo-based god. This makes a very fun pick to play, as he also has two stances.
You may be surprised at not leveling up your ultimate at level five but, as you continue farming on your lane, this won't be a problem.
Also, Tyr does a lot of damage in the early game without any object, so farming and killing enemy gods won't be a problem. In the late game, Tyr will be spamming abilities all the time, so the damage won't be a problem either, but you will deal it slower.
Be careful not to get your blue buff sealed, as Tyr uses a lot of mana.
Also, have in mind that some gods cant be grabbed during dashes or while CC immune (Jormungander can never be grabbed)
Tyr switches stances with his third ability, which allows him to combo enemies.
Your main combo will be (Red Stance) 1, 2, (Blue Stance), 2, 1.
Charge at your enemies (or minion wave) with your 1 and knock them with your 2. Switch stance and heal yourself with 2 and come back with your 1 as you knock up them.
If you upgrade your 1 you will deal more damage (ideal for aggressive players) but you won't heal as much.
If you upgrade your 2 you will heal a lot(the more enemies you hit the more you heal) but you will deal less damage.
I don't like upgrading my ultimate at level 5 because you simply don't need it to push or get kills (I mostly use it to escape, steal buffs or chase enemies). The same logic applies to blink rune: I rarely use it, but when I do, I use it to teleport behind enemies and move them within the range of my towers/phoenixes.
When on team fights, push your enemies against a wall so your teammates can deal a massive amount of damage while they are CCed.
